If you travel to Belize you will have a host of travel options and surely you will not be disappointed if you decide to go there, and you may be truly amazed. However, if you do go, always consider asking a Belize local and travel like a local.

Belize is a tropical country situated on the eastern coast of Central America. You will find Belize right below Mexico facing the Caribbean Sea. Belize has the second longest barrier reef in the world. Belize's reef is second only to Australia's Great barrier reef. Belize's magnificent barrier reef creates some of the best deep-sea fishing, skin diving and snorkeling in the world. It's mainlands consist of tropical rivers and exotic jungles.

Belize is one of the few countries in the world that are promoting ecotourism in an aggressive manner. The country has a large number of wildlife reserves where several endangered species of animals are protected. Tourists can go on hikes and treks within these reserves to learn about nature in a very nature-friendly way.

Belize has a rich Mayan heritage. The nation has Mayan relics spread throughout the place. One of the most notable of these is the Actun Tunichil Muknal, a place also known as the Cave of the Stone Sepulcher. This is where you can find relics of some of the old Mayan rituals, such as their sacrifices. Don't be shocked to find some human skulls here even.

Summer, spring, autumn, or winter, Belize is almost alike. Fair to moderate weather all year round, where you can always Sun, Sea and Sand.

February to May here is known as the dry season, as the percentage of rains experienced during this time is mild. Even if there are rains during this period, they are always short lived and mild.
