Maldives can be a place which combines considerably pure ocean and sands with clouds and the sky.

About 90 islands in the Maldives are developed exclusively as tourist destinations. These luxurious getaways are renowned for their clear water, abundant marine life and enormous lagoons that seem to be created just for diving and snorkeling.

Travel to and from the different islands is by either boat or seaplane. Safety standards are often different from what you may expect in a western country. Most of the boats and planes are in fairly good condition, but some of them…well, unless you’re a licensed marine or aviation engineer and have brought your coveralls and a flashlight, maybe stay on the resort.

The tourism industry has become the main source of income for the people of the Maldives. There are over 90 resorts in the Maldives.

The main airport of the Maldives is the Malé International Airport, located on Hulhulé Island which is next to the capital, Malé.

Maldives is expensive but a great destination for relaxation, swimming, snorkelling and diving. You can think for affordable deal - take a safari boat cruise instead of staying at a resort. The vast majority of resort islands in the Maldives cater to the exclusive end of the tourist market with bungalows and villas filled with the best furniture and amenities, including swimming pools, spas and restaurants.

Maldives, considered the smallest county in Asia and its all about sun, sand and sea. The Maldives is the only place in the world where you can experience your own ‘Robinson Crusoe’ island getaway. The weather is always perfect, with daily temperatures averaging 30 degrees Celsius all year. The Maldives is regulated by two seasons, with the months of June and July experiencing tropical rains.
