Some good Tokyo places to must visit ...

Asukusa is a really great temple to go to with many street vendors and little shops.

Korakuen is a really cool amusement park you could go to.

You could go to a place and sing Karaoke.

You could go to the Tokyo Tower although sometimes there are way~ too many people there and it's really difficult to go up.

You should definitely go to Harajuku if you want cheaper fashion. there's also a bridge there with a lot of cosplayers and people dressed in visual kei.

You could see a movie; I think I went to a theater in Shinjuku. although it's a bit expensive to see.In Shinjuku there are a lot of cafes to visit.

You could go to Ueno Park.

You could go see a concert in Shibuya-O-West.

You could got a Pachinko; I think I saw some in Ginza.

You could see the Imperial Palace.

You could see a Kabuki play or see the Takarazuka! I'd prefer Takarazuka because I went to a Kabuki play before and fell asleep T_T. They do musicals such as the adaption of the manga "the rose of versaille".
there's also Tokyo Disneyland, which is pretty cool. they have a water park there as well.

For shopping in Tokyo, go to the Oriental Bazaar in Harajuku. They have all kinds of souvenirs (and the pricing is reasonable!). You can get an authentic Kimono (which isn't expensive!), tableware (bowls, dishes, tea sets), wallets, silk fans, sake sets, unique teddy bears, furniture, chopsticks, etc.

Tips on Travel and Hotel Deal:

The cheap hotel rates in Tokyo(Japan) starts from around 3200 yen.

You don't need to give tips in hotel in Japan, it's not customary. On the contrary, they will refuse tips because they are trained as not to take tips especially when you are staying at a first-class hotel.

There are roughly two types of hotels in Japan. One is western style ,the other is Japanese style such as ryokann or
onsenn. At ryokan or onsenn you put off your shoes at the entrance.

best travel season in japan : March to April and October to November.
