Hong Kong is known to be an important business hub as well as a popular tourist spot. Thus, to cater to its USP, its visa conditions are quite flexible and easy to be met. The citizens of the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand do not need to acquire a visa to enter Hong Kong. However, they are permitted to live in the country for a period of ninety days. But this is varied for each country. For instance, the citizens of United Kingdom are permitted to live in Hong Kong for a period of six months at a stretch. This validity has to be clearly indicated on the passport as well.

Hong Kong is among the largest monetary centers in the world, and, great for both pleasure as well as business. Its capitalist economic climate is known to be one of the most flexible on the planet for 15 long years. It has a very diverse tradition that is caused by years of British occupation. It is a place in which the far east meets the west as evident of the many affects of the western globe mixed with the great tradition of the Chinese. Hong Kong is an ideal place for everyone who really wants to be introduced to the cultures of China without having to miss the ways of the brand new. It is a very important center for global trade and finance making it one of the Four Tigers of Asia because of its high and rapid economic development and growth particularly during the sixties through the nineties. Its stock market is actually ranked as the sixth largest in the world.

Climate: The environment in Hong Kong from November to December is generally pleasant with cool breezes and plenty of sunshine. People think about these months the best in the year. Almost half of the year, its temperature is considered very comfy, just already been the hot and the cold. The months of January and February experience cloudy weathers and periodic cold fronts and it is normal to obtain really cold during these months. Mild weather and high humidity are experience from March to April but higher grounds experience fogs and frequent drizzles. May through August may be the hot and humid while tropical storms occur from July to September.

Transportation: Hong Kong is popular for its double-decked tram systems, the only one of its type in the world. It is also known for its Star Ferry that travels across Victoria Harbor. Its other transportation networks are extremely modern day with a public transport card called the Octopus Card that is widely to board trains, buses, ferries and as a debit card for purchases in some outlets around the state. The Hong Kong International Airport is also most significant and busiest airports in the world with over 47 million passengers every year.

Must See Places in Hong Kong: There are many great "must see" places in Hong Kong, including:

Victoria Peak (Take the peak tram to the top for a great view, also there is a really nice pathway around the peak) ~ this is a must visit for sure!

Kowloon night market (Where you can buy just about anything) and also try some food at the street vendors.

Kowloon Park

Nathan Road

Avenue of Stars (it is along the harbour on the Kowloon side, and great vantage point to view the skyline of HK, and see the famous actors names and hand prints, etc. A great walking area first thing in the morning. One morning, I started walking and ended up going for over two miles along the harbour)

Parade of Lights - harbour cruise and light show

International Finance Centre (Hong Kong's tallest building)

Tian Tan Buddha, Lantau

Hong Kong Art Gallery etc. and many more.

Hong Kong Hotels: Tourists who are coming from different countries want to make the most out of their money and most of the time it is on the hotel services that they spend so much. Hong Kong airport hotels make it possible for tourists and visitors alike to check in immediately upon their arrival and afterwhich they can proceed to the tourist spots that can be found within the proximity of the hotels.

While it is true that Hong Kong has many five-star hotels and the most luxurious places to stay, these offerings may not seem practical for the budget conscious tourist or traveler who wants to make the most out of his money. Budget hotels Hong Kong, although marked as cheap, does not allow its services to be far behind the big time hotels.
